Ceremony combines the stories, songs and dances of the culture to mark Seasonal Celebrations, rites of passage, and initiations. These can be large ceremonies that include the whole community such as Winter Solstice, weddings and funerals, or private rituals to mark the successful completion of goals.

Kari holds the principal of the Church of Spiritual Humanism which ordained her in 2007. ”We cannot abandon ancient traditions and practices but we can adapt them to our new understanding of the universe. Religion must be able to adapt to new knowledge about the universe without rejecting the deep spiritual connections to human history and the natural world that we are a part of.”
