Tamara Rogers - Dancer, choreographer, educator

Tamara began working with Kari Tauring and Friends in 2001. Kari saw her dance at Zorongo. "She is so incredible. She embodies all the aspects of the three fold goddess - maiden in her joy, mother in her healing, and crone in her wisdom and integrity. I just went up to her and asked, "would you be my crone?" She understood immediately what I meant and joyfully took on the role in Welcoming the Old Ones."

Since then she has interpreted such characters as the right brain, the reptilian brain, the three fold goddess, the roots of the trees, the bird of wisdom, the angel of mercy and the Creator of the North.

Her contributions to Kari Tauring and Friends is multidimentional. She brings a true shammanic vision to her work with the Discovering Origins/Building Traditions Project

Tamara danced ballet professionally for some 30 years and studies flamenco at Zorongo in Minneapolis. She teaches dance and French and contributes to her spiritual community at St. Luke's Presbyterian in Minnetonka.
