Mathison
- Shammanic Upright Bassist |
Pete has had
a long career in North America as an exceptional bass player. He

a new era for folk music of all types. He plays with Cousin
Dad, the bluegrass band on the edge of propper. They won the

You can hear
him with a variety of other groups as well.
Lending his
solid and spiritual roots to the original "Yuletide
Celebration" CD, Pete has been with Kari Tauring and Friends
from the beginning in 1999. He has added to the shows ever since.
Pete also contributed to the Huldre
ensamble in the live performance at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater,
Sept. 06.
He is also a
computer consultant, a very kind one for those whose learning curve
and learning style are not typical of techno-geeks.
His children
Owen and Dorothy
have contributed to a variety of Discovering Origins/Building Tradition
Ritual Shows. We are sure to see more of them in the future!
