The World Tree - Saturday February 18, 4 - 6 pm
Cultures around the world have illustrated our place in the multi-dimensional universe through stories of a World Tree. In this performance and discussion session, Kari will tell three World Tree stories from Ife, Nordic, and Mexican traditions. An educational entertainment for all ages!
The Northern Path - Sunday March 11, 2 - 4:30 pm
In this session Kari will define the essential elements of Nordic theology and metaphysics such as oorlog, wyrd, and world tree cosmology. We will explore the differences between folk ways, spiritual paths and religion. Northern European traditions are ancestral and nature spiritual. We will look at their unique expressions in different cultures of the Nordic Root. Some basic rituals to get you started will be shared. Advanced students will be welcomed to share their experiences.
