a wonderful introduction blending history, songs, and story telling.
Kjerringa med Staven
Kari Tauring is a Volva, a staff carrier, a Kjerringa med Staven
who loves to share the history of the Nordic staff carrying women. Bronze
Age priestesses, the Oseberg Ship's Queen, Thorbjorg of Eric the Red's
Saga and the Kjerringa med Staven of immigrant era folk song, these are
the songs and stories of Norse Traditions most powerful women.
