The Discovering Origins/Building Traditions Series were multi-media, inter-faith, inter-generational ritual shows for the Seasonal Cycle produced in a variety of venues from 1999 - 2006 by Kari Tauring and Friends - Alphabetical List of Collaborators.

The series was begun in 1999 with the release of my CD, "A Yuletide Celebration." Our first show is available as a 35 min. DVD
From 2000 - 2003 the Discovering Origins project found a home at Patrick's Cabaret.

We moved to the Cedar Cultural Center for two years to accomodate our large following. We also began to create shows for the other seasonal cycles such as Spring and Fall Equinox and May Day. Venues included the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater and the Varsity Theater. Portions of the shows were presented in other contexts such as conferences and in school and church environments.

2006 was our final production year as my central focus became Norse Music and Spiritual Practice.
