With over
20 years of performance and martial arts experience, my sessions
include stretching our bodies and body mechanics, creating rhythms,
warming up our voices for chants and songs, discussing the history
and uses of the tool as per the topic of the day

May 3 Class Changed to May 10!-
"Stav as May Pole" learn how to detect and align your
many bodies like ribbons round the may pole of your spine!
June 7 - Class Canceled due to travel!
"Vandre Stav, self defence on the road" Some
basic martial arts moves.(will re-schedule with North Star Stav
Club)
July 5 - "Runos,
the songs of nature" we will each draw a rune at random, sing
it, stav it, and combine it with others for a powerful energetic
experience.
August 2 - "Specific work, specific rhythm" Churning,
spinning, threshing, beating rugs…all work has it's own rhythm.
Let's play it!
September 6 - "Healing with stav" , take an ailment, explore
it, and create a healing spell to sing and stav off that disease!
October 4 - "Journeying with guides" meet and greet the
animals, birds, and other entities living among the branches of
Yggdrasil!
November 1 - "Rune chants, your name and rhythm" I will
help you translate your name into runes and find the rhythm of your
name as you sing and chant.
December 6 - "Hulda's Time, finish your spinning" The
importance of wheels at winter Solstice. We will explore Frau Holda
and begin to understand why we should sit still when the sun comes
home!
