"The Runes: A Human Journey"
History, mythology, and 20 years of experience combined to create

personal and deeply practical guide to discovering the message of
runes through nature, sound, design and use. We will discuss how
to best use this book, it's extensive glossary, and practice using
runes by translating our names.

"Stav tradition, work of the Völva"
Völva means staff carrier. Shamanic women carried a staff for
protection as they traveled from village to village. It was a tool
for traveling the world tree. The use of working sticks and chant
to create rhythm for group work is the global phenomenon. Bring
your walking stick and a wooden spoon, learn folk songs in Scandinavian
languages, and journey through the world tree with the trance inducing
sound of stav

Bio:
I have been studying, using, teaching, and writing about runes since
1987. Working as a performance and ceremonial artist in the midwest
for twenty years my studies and practices include Christian gnosticism,
Wiccan, Native American, Celtic and Norse traditions. With undergraduate
degrees in Philosophy and English and a Masters in Teaching, plus
so many years of experience, students find my classes compelling,
engaging, and often wish to repeat them.
I take private
students and work as a Völva and ceremonial officiant registered
with the State of Minnesota.
