"Spring's New Leaves" is about Transformation / Change

Earth Changes, Social Change, Personal Change...

Through music, dance, spoken word, shadow puppets and audience participation we ask these questions:

What is the change you want to see in your life, on Earth, in culture?
What must you let go of to make room for that change?
What does the new way look like? How does it feel?

Discover the origins of International Worker's Holiday!
From clearing the Fields and lighting the Beltane fires - to the the dance of Walburga - the enlightenment of Siddhartha - the ascension of Mary- wrapping the may pole in new garments of hope for the growing season - crowning the may queen - honoring the queen of heaven - honoring the divine in ourselves and others - hiding the may baskets - playing in the sun with the shape shifting spirit world at Powderhorn Park - to embracing the way we change how we view ourselves, our relationships, our politics…

Experience the transformation of the hunch backed fiddler.

Feel the choices of the seal woman as she moves conflicted between sea and sand.

Transform through chant as we wrap the may pole, our spines, and align ourselves

Build your own traditions…

What will your robe and crown look like as you gain the enlightenment of this season? What will Nature wear? What is in your May Basket?
