Discovering Origins/Building Traditions
celebration for Fall Equinox at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater!
Greet the returning darkness in this cozy and intimate theater.

Kari Tauring and Friends greeted the light half of the year by "Embracing the Darkness Farewell" Spring Equinox. On May Day Eve we visualized our desires for personal and global transformation in the fires of "Spring's New Leaves."

We say farewell to the light as nights lengthen. Our mood turns inward. The sap of returns to the core and roots and our dream time takes over. As darkness comes, can we face our fears and begin "Crossing the River?"

This all women's monthly gathering for song, dance, food and ritual has been an important part of the lives of hundred's of women throughout the Twin Cities and greater metro area. Rarely do most of us have opportunities to gather with our womenfolk. The CIA is a beautiful, warm, and private theatrical and gallery space housed in the charter school, El Colegio. There is plenty of parking and the mood will be equinox!
