Jim "Seamus" McGuire

Jim McGuire co-founded and maintained karitauring.com from 1999-2005. See the Site History. He has been a loyal friend and fan of my musical endeavors since the end of the Rose Absolute days. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Discovering Origins/Building Traditions Project from 2001 - 2003.

Every Yuletide Celebration, Jim is greeting and wassailing the hall. It would simply not be a Yuletide Celebration without The McGuire!

His "One Day in July" event won honors and he has been a tireless advocate of worker's rights and political justice his whole life. For the DOBT show Spring's New Leaves, Jim gave us the perspective of May Day as the International Workers Holiday.
