Saturday Night - June 4th - the Huldre folk were honored to perform for David de Young's aniversary/birthday bash at the Turf Club!

As we celebrate with him three years of success for howwastheshow.com and many more years of success as a friend, promoter of local music, and performer of the same, it is only natural that all the folk who share his passion for music of the people would come to honor him. Photo

Highlights were Staving, the Midsummer fire rituals, and Jacks fabulous artwork...peacocks in the campgrounds and seeing/feeling all that onyx. We also loved the beading workshop, the food sharing, and Robin the Younger's violin concert. Jack's best memory was nightly marshmallow roasting and singing 'round the fire (and Robin the Younger). I was honored to trade a rune set for a drum which I used in a ritual
Sunday July 17th at St. Luke's.
