Hand Made Rune sets - by Kari and her father

Kari cut this set from Buckthorn, an invasive species of hedge from Europe. Runes are wood burned onto the sanded surface with a line burned on the back for reversals. Crochetted in a spiral by Kari, the bag is of hand dyed wool. - cost - $40

Sets of Ironwood, Maple, Oak, Buckthorn, Plum, Cherry,and Blackthorn are cut and sanded, wood burned or inscribed with Henna, and sometimes treated with mineral oil.
