Creating a balanced life through Chi work

Throughout history, humans have understood their environment as a balance between seen physical reality and the energy that holds our physical world together. Tai Chi, yoga, chant, ritual, prayer, and gardening are just some of the global techniques used through human history to maintain and affect the physical world by connecting energetically with our environment.
I can help you create balance and enlightenment within the
5 principals of Feng Shui that affect your life every day! With almost two decades of martial arts training and living in this process/flow oriented way plus a Masters in Teaching I know I can help you.

The 5 aspects which create the enlightened human being in the Chinese system of Feng Shui (meaning wind and water) are:
Destiny, Luck, Feng Shui, Education, and Philanthropy

Destiny is your predisposition, genetic material, astrological chart, what we understand to be our ultimate purpose for having come to Earth. What gifts do you possess? A keen math mind? A strong public speaking voice? An ability to help plants grow?
I use rune readings, astrology, journalling, ritual and dream work to align my daily choice making to my destiny. I find this creates the most interesting luck! I can assist you in using these tools. More about Destiny

Luck is neither good nor bad. Everyone is given a certain amount of luck. The more present and in the moment we are, the more we experience serendipity. It is our attitude and perception which determines whether our luck will be "good or bad." It makes a huge difference if we see the glass half empty or half full. They are not the same thing, though they are similar. What makes them different is the observer. The observers expectations create reality on the subatomic level. So if I choose to see the glass as half full, I am excited because it's almost there! Only half to go until it's completely full. If I see it as half empty, then I am depressed because half is already gone and it won't be long until the rest is gone and I am left with nothing. These perceptions will color my actions and create very different outcomes.
I can help you understand and change your perception of your luck!

Feng Shui is an awareness of the flow of energy or Chi. Chi flows like wind and water through our environment. How we arrange our internal and external environments can enhance the energy flow or block it. Our sensitivity to the subtle energy flow increases as we practice manipulating our environment. This art pertains to everything from cleaning out junk food from our internal environment to cleaning out the junk drawers in our kitchens. The practice of Tai Chi, the martial art, has assisted me greatly in my ability to detect and direct the energy of life towards harmony and balance and to my benefit and that of the community. Within this site are tools to help you understand the layout of the environment according to the principals of Feng Shui. The Intake Survey will help you determine the external environment you wish to study. The Basic Bagua is a printable template for you to lay over the room or building. It describes the nature of the directions within a space. I can teach you basic Chi exercises, do a dietary analysis, and help you arrange your space for the best chi flow for your environment.

Education is paramount to enlightenment. From the Ming Dynasty to the Age of Enlightenment in Europe, education was liberal arts oriented. Music and art, history and language, medicine and science, martial arts and nature studies were included in all superior education. The more education we have the more choices we have in the direction of our lives. I am particularly interested in people learning their history, personal, cultural, and global. Only in this way can we make use of the past, avoid repeating mistakes and build on the best of our species.
I can teach you music, gardening arts, help you explore your family and tribal history, put you in touch with further educational resources! I have a Masters Degree in Teaching.

Philanthropy means the love of humanity. This is the fifth cornerstone of the enlightened individual and ultimately the most important in my view. We may think of corporate donors giving money to public radio as philanthropy. It is much more than that. It is a way of applying our destiny, luck, feng shui and education to the betterment of our friends, neighbors, community and world. Getting to this stage means that we have established a full and prosperous life with a strong core of self at the heart of it.
I offer this web site freely. It is my great accumulative work and process to share for the enlightenment of others for the sheer joy of giving it!

Here are some quotes that summarize it for me.

"Love your neighbor as your self"

This quote from the New Testament Bible assumes that you love yourself well and therefore have much to give your neighbor. These first four Feng Shui principals strive to create in each person a strong central core of self.

"I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service and my health to better living for my home, my club, my community, my country and my world."

This pledge comes from 4H. As a young girl I loved it, and still do.

"What every you send out returns on you three fold."

This saying comes from the Wiccan tradition. Makes a person pause before even speaking!

Finally, from the Beatles:

"And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make."
