A fascinating
historical and mythological introduction to the 24 letter rune alphabet.
Tauring traces the runes from Phoenicia to Sweden, interprets the
mythology of it's origins, the banishment in 1680 and the rebirth
of a cultural heritage. Discussion oriented, participants will receive
extensive handouts and work sheets. And each will get their name
translated into runes!

and dance. A trans-global approach is used as we explore the common
themes of herding cultures from around the world. As the Vikings
brought these traditions north, how did they blend with existing
traditions? And what did the Vikings leave behind them?
