26th Annual Conference!

Kari,
along with Ms Kari's Summer Greenthumbs,
will present Plants as Medicinals
at Mondale Hall, U of M Law School (near the Art Department)
"It
is important that we grow relationships to the plants we see every
day. When we learn their names, where they originate from, and what
useful purpose they serve, we can change our idea of what it means
to be a "weed." These lessons are useful in community
building of all kinds!"

Kari will help host the Community Gardens Tours at the LRT
Minnehaha Avenue location. A highlight of the tour - our newly
expanded Medicinal Gardens! 2 - 2:30 pm Saturday! Our medicine garden
journals and products made by the Greenthumbs
will be on display!

this Saturday's market is dedicated to everything Nordic. Kari will
do Rune Readings, sales, and mini-classes
about ancient Norse history, there will be knitting and other hand
work and a whole list of Nordic style music including a few Staving
tunes here and there by Kari and Maren!
